Stage Three: Forsinard to Altnabreac (14 miles/22.5 km)

Continue on the road for four miles to Forsinain. Turn right onto the forestry track towards Loch More. and follow it to Altnabreac. There are no facilities here but there is a station. It is a request stop, so pilgrims wanting to board the train here need to notify Scotrail in advance.

At Altnabreac there is the option of turning south on a cycle track and visiting the ancient graveyard at Dalnawillan, associated with Saint Ciaran. From Dalnawillan, use the estate path along the west shore of Loch More to join the forestry track from Altnabreac.
